Palomar College (San Marcos, California) has developed sixteen informative online tutorials for the study of anthropology at the university level. The tutorials offer an introduction and an overview of key concepts, theories, and methodologies in physical (biological) anthropology (including 'Early Theories of Evolution', 'Classification of Living Things', 'Synthetic Theory of Evolution') and cultural (social) anthropology (including 'Language and Culture', 'The Nature of Kinship', 'Culture Change'). The WWW site of the Jean Piaget Society. Piaget wrote extensively on child development and pedagogy (though much less so directly on education). The Society's aim is to provide an open forum, through symposia, books, and other publications, for the presentation and discussion of scholarly work on issues related to human knowledge and its development. The resource contains on-line editions of 'Genetic Epistemologist', the Newsletter of the Society, for the years 1995-present. A section offering resources for teachers and students is planned. There is a page of publications by the Society and a page about an e-mail discussion list.

This is the second project of the Virtual Faculty from the Department of Psychology, Massey University , New Zealand. The resource aims to catalogue independently held documents and host some new documents to mark the centenary of Vygotsky's birth. Vygotsky is particularly important for his ideas about culturally mediated learning. Three papers, by faculty members, are currently available: An introduction to culturally-mediated identity (An introduction to some of the basic concepts of Vygotskyean theory); Talk of saying, showing, gesturing, and feeling in Wittgenstein and Vygotsky (A 'reading' of Vygotsky's central notions through the work of Wittgenstein); The role of culture in Vygotskyean-informed psychology (A paper summarising the main thrust of Vygotsky's general developmental framework, as well as offering a contrast to the Piagetian approach).
