Palomar College (San Marcos, California) has developed sixteen informative online tutorials for the study of anthropology at the university level. The tutorials offer an introduction and an overview of key concepts, theories, and methodologies in physical (biological) anthropology (including 'Early Theories of Evolution', 'Classification of Living Things', 'Synthetic Theory of Evolution') and cultural (social) anthropology (including 'Language and Culture', 'The Nature of Kinship', 'Culture Change'). Each tutorial provides a table of contents, an interactive quiz, a glossary of terms, and related Internet information resources. Some of the tutorials also include data tables, illustrations, maps, and chronologies.

A resource for teachers of Religious Education and Values Education. Five schools from Spain, Liechtenstein, The Netherlands, Germany (former GDR), and the UK are contributing to a web-site based upon the key stage 3 Agreed Syllabus for Somerset. The project is the cooperation between Exeter University, The Farmington Institute for Christian Studies, The Central Bureau for Educational Exchange, Socrates/Comenius Action 1 & Somerset County Council. There are 9 Modules: 1.Experience & Belief 2.Human Beings & The Environment 3.Where's The Answer? 4.Belonging, Belief And Identity 5.Life's Journeys 6.Keeping The Rules 7.Expressions Of Belief 8.What Do People Believe? 9.What's To be Done? Each module will have lesson plans for major subjects of the curriculum. Currently most of the material submitted is in the first two modules.

The Citizenship Foundation describes itself as "an independent charity working to promote more effective citizenship through education about the law, democracy and society." It was founded in 1989. The website offers: some teaching support materials (mostly own publications); a substantial number of categorised summaries of case study materials; details of its own training programmes; and a section called 'active learning'. This latter section is about legal oriented presentations/debates available to schools in certain parts of the country.
