The African Educational Research Network (AERN) was founded in 1992 by a small group of African universities and other universities in the US, Canada and the UK. This site provides information on the aims and activities of the association and some full text documents on distance education in Africa and the use of the Internet for African universities and a paper entitled "African Traditional Religion: Triumphs of Rituals" with links to other documents on this theme.
